Description: Join Budhsamudra Knox for an evening of spiritual exploration and connection. This session includes inspiring stories, teachings, and an open Q&A where you can ask questions about meditation, spirituality, and the inner journey.

Thursday, 24 April: The Music of Mantra – Discover the Power of Sacred Sound

Sunday, 4 May: A Day of Inner Peace – Half-Day Retreat

Cost: Free (Lunch available for $25 at The Lotus-Heart, or bring your own vegetarian lunch)

Take a step back from the busyness of life and immerse yourself in a day of peace, reflection, and inspiration. This retreat is designed to help you reconnect with your inner self through meditation, music, and sound healing. Whether you’re new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice, this retreat offers a welcoming and supportive environment for all.

Morning Session (10:00 AM–12:00 PM): Introduction to Meditation
The retreat begins with an introduction to meditation, followed by a series of guided practices to help you explore different techniques:

  • Guided Meditations: Learn simple yet powerful techniques to quiet the mind and connect with your inner peace.
  • Heart Meditation: Focus on the heart centre to cultivate inner joy, love, and compassion.
  • Mantra Meditation: Discover the power of sacred sounds and learn how to use mantras to calm the mind and uplift the spirit.

Lunch Break (12:00–1:00 PM): Nourish Your Body and Soul
Enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch at The Lotus-Heart for $25, lovingly prepared to nourish and energise you for the afternoon session. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own vegetarian lunch to enjoy outside on our deck.

Afternoon Session (1:00–3:00 PM): Meditative Sound Healing Experience
The afternoon features a deeply relaxing and meditative experience with sound healing instruments. Let the soothing vibrations of singing bowls, gongs, and other instruments guide you into a state of inner stillness and harmony. This session is designed to help you release stress, recharge, and connect with your inner self on a deeper level.

What to Bring:

  • Comfortable clothing for meditation and clean socks (no shoes in the meditation room).
  • A vegetarian lunch (if not dining at The Lotus-Heart).
  • An open heart and mind!

Sunday, 8 June: Concert: Music for the Soul

Time: 6:00–7.15 PM

Description: Experience the beauty and serenity of Sri Chinmoy’s music in this special live concert. Performed by talented musicians, this event features a variety of instruments, including harmoniums, flutes, and Gandharva Loka’s world music instruments, creating a deeply meditative and uplifting atmosphere.

The concert will include:

  • Soulful Songs: Immerse yourself in the heartfelt and meditative compositions of Sri Chinmoy, designed to bring peace and joy to the listener.
  • Instrumental Performances: Enjoy the soothing sounds of traditional and world instruments, blending harmoniously to create a unique musical experience.
  • Group Chanting: Participate in simple, uplifting chants to feel a sense of connection and oneness.

This concert is a perfect opportunity to relax, recharge, and experience the transformative power of music. Whether you’re a music lover, a spiritual seeker, or simply curious, this event is open to all.
