What Is Meditation?

Meditation is an inner search for happiness that reconnects us to our deeper spiritual nature – it cultivates inner peace and the discovery of our deeper potentiality and purpose. Our free meditation classes and workshops introduce simple meditation techniques that help participants on the journey to inner peace and happiness. Using guided visualisation, heart meditation, music and mantras, our courses cover the ABCs of establishing a personal meditation practice at home and offer the inspiration of long-term meditation practitioners in an informal and friendly environment.

"Meditation simplifies our outer life and energises our inner life. Meditation gives us a natural and spontaneous life. This life becomes so natural and spontaneous that we cannot breathe without the consciousness of our divinity."

Meditation Class Content

Based on the teachings of Sri Chinmoy, our meditation classes and workshops will introduce participants to a range of techniques, skills and step-by-step guidelines to establishing a daily meditation practise at home. Within just a few weeks one can experience profound positive results: a growing calm, a renewed enthusiasm for life, the awakening or expansion of one's spirituality and a growing understanding of life's purpose.
