A simple story that I came across somewhere and I liked for its truthful message...
Which Wolf Wins?
One evening the grandson of a wise old chief asked, "Why is life so unhappy Grandfather?"
The chief replied, "Can you hear those wolves howling? Have you noticed that some of them are angry and others friendly?"
"Yes," replied the boy.
"We have two wolves inside us. One leads us to unhappiness; it sows seeds of anger, envy, greed, lies and pride. The other leads us to happiness. It sows the seeds of joy, peace, love, kindness, generosity and compassion."
The grandson was quiet for a while and then asked: "Which wolf wins Grandfather?"
The wise chief replied, "The one you feed."
Darkness there is.
Light there is.
You can choose whichever pleases you.
