The following meditation exercises have been gleaned from the writings of Sri Chinmoy who, for over four decades, taught meditation to thousands of spiritual seekers all over the world.

During his lectures, talks and concerts, Sri Chinmoy was asked countless questions regarding meditation and the spiritual life, and these questions along with Sri Chinmoy's illumining answers were often published in book form.

Each week a new meditation exercise will be published and we encourage you to try these exercises if you feel the need. Each individual has their own way of meditating and your meditation should be tailored to your needs as it is an evolving process – like the blossoming of a flower. Petal by petal, the flower opens and, in time, reveals it's full colour, beauty and fragrance. The main thing is to practice each day – even for a short time – and to keep your practice simple and progressive.
